MOLI Information Classification
markings, export control, and foreign-national awareness
Know what's sensitive. Everywhere it shows up.
CUI, ITAR, NATO, or a simple Public / Internal / Confidential / Restricted scheme: apply a classification marking to any record in the system, from a Job traveler to a Form response to an uploaded drawing.
Once a record is marked, the marking travels with it: the right badge on every screen, the right banner on every printed page and PDF export.
How It Works
Any record can carry a classification marking under whichever scheme fits your environment: CUI (Basic or Specified), U.S. National Security (Confidential / Secret / Top Secret), NATO, or a straightforward Corporate scheme for organizations that want consistent internal handling rules without government-grade overhead.
Export control is tracked as its own dimension, separate from classification level. MOLI tracks the applicable program — ITAR, EAR, OFAC sanctions, or nuclear-material programs under NRC 10 CFR 110 / DOE 10 CFR 810 — and, for ITAR, the specific USML category that applies.
All colors for U.S. National Security, NATO, and CUI markings follow the published conventions auditors expect.
Applies to Any Record — and Follows the Work
- Jobs, Items, Files, Forms and Form Responses — any record type in MOLI can carry a classification marking.
- Markings inherit and filter automatically: allows hybrid environments and automatic markings of related data.
- Guardrails keep markings consistent and prevent the application of invalid markings.
- Query and report on classification state and dissemination controls.
