MOLI Integrations: The MOLI Broker

a lightweight local service for on-premises integrations

On-premises integrations — automatic, current, and secure.

The MOLI Broker is a small background service installed on any server with network access to your ERP, DMS, or other on-premises system. It wakes on a configurable schedule, contacts your MOLI System over standard HTTPS, and performs a structured data exchange
— then goes back to sleep.

For operations and quality teams: job data and documents stay synchronized automatically — no manual imports or exports. For IT: a single service to deploy, no inbound firewall rules, no VPN, nothing to babysit.

What the Broker Does

  • Runs as a persistent background service — installs once, starts automatically at OS startup
  • Wakes on a configurable schedule (default: every 15 minutes) to exchange data with MOLI
  • Downloads fresh integration logic, configuration, and data from your MOLI system each cycle
  • Queries your ERP, DMS, or other local system for the data MOLI needs, and delivers it back to MOLI
  • Logs all activity to rotating files or the system journal; restarts automatically on failure
  • All traffic is outbound HTTPS only — no inbound connections, no VPN, no firewall rule changes

From ERP to machine, the job arrives ready.

Your ERP already knows the job, so the operator adds what they see at the machine. Your IT team can check every connection and when it last ran.
